Term 1 2009

Posted by: ប៊ី Bee on: January 9, 2009

Term 1 2009 is coming up thick and fast and I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve been tidying things up over the last couple days and preparing for my new classes starting next Monday. This afternoon I was given my schedule (and I like to pronounce it:  /ʃed.juːl /), which shall prove to be an exciting yet intimidating one. I am taking over a Stage 2 of my sickening EFI classes plus a few new IT classes, not to mention the two 4RWGs where I failed roughly half the class last term. I’ve got no idea what to teach them this term because they are all pretty much familiar faces, who will pretty much fail this term again.

Anyway, tomorrow is Saturday and I’ve got quite a number of plans: go to ACE and do some work, have lunch with Fio at Mother-In-Law House (it’s the name of a restaurant, so don’t get confused with whatever you’re about to get confused with), then go to the dancing club at PUC and the stadium. And finally, watch all the mouth-watering Premiership actions on ESPN. Quite a day huh?

And the last one is for me. Nicely wrapped!! lolzz..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Posted by: ប៊ី Bee on: December 24, 2008

Dear All,

I’d like to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year indeed.  I’m joining a so-called ‘Miss and Mister PUC’ Christmas Party tomorrow, which I’m hoping will be fun and exciting. I’ve been told there’ll be modelling, singing contest, fun games and activities, dancing and more. Apparently I’ve also got one more party and two wedding receptions to attend come the end of this month, not mentioning the countdown on New Year’s Eve as well.

Speaking of New Year, 2008 has been a great year as far as I’m concerned. I feel like I’ve accomplished a great many things and become a much more rounded person at least to a certain degree. I’ve met and made many great friends and gone through things I’d never come across before. It’s been a big step forward towards achieving my goals and ambitions. I’m also anticipating a very busy New Year ahead, having already been given a few new classes to teach and expecting to write a senior project so as to graduate from my university. This is by no means an easy task.

How about you? What are you up to? Any resolutions? Happy holidays, dear friends!!!

Term Break

Posted by: ប៊ី Bee on: December 22, 2008

I’ve only got one more day till my Christmas break. It’s been a busy week, though, having to wake up at 6 and be part of the enrollment team. But it’s at least better than having to teach twenty hours a week.

I’m also done with my e-learning translation and the bulk of reports I’ve had to write. Life is a little less busy now, which also means I’ve got quite some time to keep fio company. It has definitely been the best new year yet.

Cheers,

Hullo, chaps!

Fio is back and we’ve been hanging out for quite a few days now. So far, we’ve been to a number of places, had some Cambodiana cake together, been to a wedding and to our PUC dancing classes. Yesterday we saw Where Elephants Weep (only for a few minutes, though, cuz we had to rush to a wedding), which was absolutely delightful.

Loads of fun.

By the way, I’m sorry to inform ya’ll that yesterday Singapore beat Cambodia 5-0. :(

Just an update!

Hi folks, what’s up? Nothing new with me lately but just feels like writing something. Don’t wanna leave the blog idle. :) Anyway, my EFI class came to a finale yesterday and goodness gracious me, how relieved I am after a full term of suffering! Yet I’ve got to write their final test, not to mention the bulks of translation I’ve got to get over with. I’m afraid I won’t be able to meet all these deadlines. Like I’ve always said: it’s a tough job, but somebody has got to do it! Oh dear!

Speaking of ‘dear’, Fio is coming back this Monday. How I look forward to meeting her again. By the way, we are joining the PUC dancing club for a second time. We’ve learned all the stuff before, but just figured out we needed to have some fun together. It’s Saturday afternoons, 3 to 5pm. Kanika is also joining. It’s gonna be real exciting. Wanna join too? hehehe.. Five dollars please!!! :p
